Our Practices Regarding COVID-19

It is important to us that we fully comply with both CDC considerations and New Jersey guidelines for food establishments. To that end, we've implemented the following requirements on top of the standard commercial kitchen protocols for food safety:


  • Kitchen staff thoroughly wash their hands when entering the kitchen and frequently throughout the day.


  • Kitchen staff wear clean face coverings and food safety gloves while in the kitchen, and maintain social distancing from one another while working.


  • If any kitchen staff were to have any symptoms of COVID-19, they would stay home from the kitchen or go home right away. They'd return only upon receiving negative COVID test results.


  • If any kitchen staff learned that they had been in close contact with anyone who has symptoms or receives a positive test result, they would quarantine until receiving a negative COVID test result.

 

  • In the event that any kitchen staff received a positive test result, they would follow current CDC guidelines for ending home isolation and returning to work. 


Because we're a small team, we acknowledge that some of these requirements could lead us to temporarily suspend our operation. We see this as the cost of doing business during this time. If you have any concerns or questions about these practices, don't hesitate to contact us.
